Yes this is possible, however, it is recommended to grow your plants inside the iGrowcan. Every order includes auto flower seeds, which means the iGrowcan will be big enough to fully grow the seeds up to 12 weeks.

If you followed all the instructions in the manual, but the seed failed to germinate, we recommend trying external germination. You do this by following the following steps:

  1. Prepare a damp paper towel
  2. Place the seed in the paper towel and cover it with a plastic bag in a container.
  3. Wait 2 to 6 days for sprouting. Check for a 1 cm white root.
  4. Put the sprouted seed, with the white root facing down into the grow plug, at step 3.

Don't worry! It's totally normal for your leaves to turn yellow or die off eventually. This happens because the plant channels all its nutrients to the flowers.
